Butterfly Festival April 16,2011

On Phoebes birthday weekend we traveled to Wimberley to take part in our first Butterfly festival. Sliced fruit was passed out to all people interested in attracting butterflies.....

Phoebe turns 8

My beautiful daughter turns 8 years old today.


I'm so very proud of her and truly like her as a person.  I pray that God continues to walk right beside her in all of her days. Thank you God for Phoebe..... what a blessing.

Spring has sprung at 4001 Park Drive

Oh how we love Springtime !!!!  All of our gorgeous flowers are blooming, the Purple Martins are happy to see us and the smell of Spring follows us all around our backyard.

Our visit to Gramma's House

Phoebe, Watson and I had a fantastic visit at Gramma's house last week.  We went on a long walk in the beautiful hill country to Aunt Lee's house, Phoebe got to feed the deer right off of Gramma's back porch and Watson got some much needed Gramma time. It was so nice to visit and catch up with Aunt Lee and Uncle Charlie too.

Wonderful visit to Dallas to see Scott

Scott is currently working in Dallas on a pilot for a prospective television show and we miss him terribly !!
We had such a blast visiting him in his temporary home "Southside on Lamar" loft apartment. This was originally the Sears catalog center and has such history. Visiting and staying 8 floors up with a baby and all that they require was no easy job.... but we did it and made beautiful memories. Phoebe's favorite place was on the roof with her drawing pad ~ of course.

We visited the Dallas Aquarium and are still amazed all that we saw there.... Manatee, huge crocodile, exotic birds...... in downtown Dallas !!!

It was really difficult leaving as we all rather be together... until next time....

Thankful for all reminders...

What a beautiful day today... A reminder that Spring is here.

After listening to Dr. Charles Stanley, I am reminded to call on the Holy Spirit daily, sometimes hourly and even moment to moment for strength, wisdom, discernment and endurance. I'm so thankful for Dr. Stanley's encouraging ministry.

Today my beautiful friend Catherine Bird helped me begin the wonderful world of blogging. Thanks to her, the excitement of recording our lives is now a true possibility. Looking forward to adding photos, personal touches and lots of funny things happening here in the Reeder household.
